The New Site for the Lodge

The small photos on the left show exactly where the Lodge will be.	See those initials carved into the wood? How many generations of Bible Camp attendees carved their initials into the building? What other initials might be found in these historic logs?
So much has been accomplished by the Badlands Ministries Board, but there is more to do. And saving the lodge is a project that the Board cannot finance with the funds dedicated to the Ministries. So we have formed the "Love the Lodge" fund to move the historic Eaton Lodge from it's present position at the Bible Camp, to it's new home on the new site graciously set aside by the Badlands Ministries for it's new home. When it's moved, we'll bring it up to code, polish it up and bring out it's natural beauty for generations to enjoy.   There is plenty of room for the Lodge to have it's own area, set aside from the main Camp, that will allow it to be in it's native habitat, with all it's charm intact, and become a place of private retreat for meditation as well as a gathering place for the Camp members and their guests, and even those who would just like to experience some of the True West ambiance with a great barbeque dinner, a good book, and be surrounded by the beautiful badlands, the flowers, deer and watch an amazing sunset.   We need to save the Eaton Lodge. We have a terrific construction team, our road is built, and over half the money necessary for the total save and move has been raised to the point where we only need $77,000. to complete the project, but our deadline is September 1, 2010, and we're going to need your help and your Love of the West to make it in time.
